A ‘match’ made in hell!

Matt Hancock with Isabel Oakeshott – Dickens would have had a field day with these two

I found it amusing that the journalist Matt Hancock used to write his book (Pandemic Diaries) – Isabel Oakeshott – then stitched him up by exposing messages to which he gave her access. Isabel says she did this in “the public interest.” The messages had already been given to the public inquiry into Covid, she’s a journalist with an agenda (anti-lockdown) on a mission with an ego. Matt Hancock says that sending her a message telling her she’d made a “Big mistake” was not threatening! They are a match made in hell. Surely not knowing she was anti-lockdown means Hancock didn’t do due diligence when he hired her? I think the covid inquiry will find that a lack of diligence defined Boris Johnson’s government.

Within Hancock’s messages, Gavin Williamson (Secretary of State for Education 2018-2021) had no respect for teachers. No one can be credibly surprised. MPs’ actual character is always exposed in the dregs of government.
