It’s the kind of documentary I like shown to all 16-year-olds. It shows how the abuser can start small, testing boundaries, gradually tightening control until their target is completely powerless. Yes it is usually a male offender but I think it’s important because it makes the point that it’s not about physical strength it’s about control.
