If bullying & harassment aren’t stopped at the grooming stage, the longer they’re allowed to continue, the more damage they will do targets and the harder it will become for the targets to establish appropriate boundaries. Also, setting appropriate boundaries needs practice, preferably in front of a mirror, for if you can’t look yourself in the eye while practicing polite but assertive communication, how will you manage it in front of a perpetrator? As firefighters say, “Will drill for skill so that we don’t regress under stress” – and when standing your ground with a perpetrator, you will be VERY stressed! However with practice being assertive can be rewarding – intervention for me now happens on instinct. #workplacebullying #harassment #bullyingawareness #bullyingprevention #harassmentprevention

The Bully-Proofing Coach - here to train you to spot the multiple ways in which bullies groom (unconsciously or consciously) to assess potential targets. If you can spot the grooming and respond appropriately - which I also teach - you can stop bullies before they hurt you. I can bully-proof you, your colleagues, and your organisation.
