Why was the man there if not to cause a peach of the peace? Had it been a march in support of what Israel was doing in Gaza and a Muslim man turned up dressed in clothes that would lead the police to think he was there to pick a fight, I’m certain that the police would have taken the same action.
Please don’t misunderstand me. I think what Hamas did on 7th October 2023 was terrorism, but Israel has given the Palestinian people no choice. The only way to resolve the conflict and secure Israel’s future is for there to be a homeland for the Palestinians. There is no justification for Israel building settlements in the occupied West Bank. It’s about time the rest of the world insisted on a 2 state solution with an international peacekeeping force patrolling the border.
