She called out the Catholic Church for child abuse before the main scandals broke and was vilified for it.
She never compromised. She even helped to move attitudes to mental health forward. Practicing Radical Acceptance, “…a conscious effort to acknowledge and honor difficult situations and emotions” to cope with her mental health whilst carrying on with her life.
When I first saw the video below, I thought she was the most beautiful woman with the most perfectly haunting voice I’d ever heard.
