How many women are currently on witness protection because there is no other way to prevent their domestic abuser from killing them? 2 women a week are killed by a current or former partner in England and Wales. So should there should be more on witness protection? There has got to be an alternative – domestic abusers who breach restraining orders have to be tagged. The government’s 8.4 million plan is not enough – just more window dressing!
