Picking up from yesterday’s post – whilst out walking with my dog in Oxhey woods yesterday we came across a Springer Spaniel that seemed lost – just kept running backward and forwards in an agitated manner. In the 20 minutes it took to locate the distressed owner, 5 dog walkers got involved! In fact no dog owner we passed didn’t join in! So if people are capable of taking time out to help a distressed animal/owner there is no excuse for leaving a work colleague unsupported especially, if they are being treated abusively right in front of you. As long as you remain polite there shouldn’t be a problem – if there is then it’s your employer’s! From experienced it’s one of the most liberating things you’ll ever do – you’ll be bullyproof.
